
3 analysis books launched at GNDU

The Centre on Research in Sri Guru Granth Sahib organised a daylong seminar devoted to Guru Gobind Singh and the 4 Sahibzadas on “Soorbeerta te Sidak di Lasani Dastaan: Char Sahibzadian di Shahadat” and launched three analysis books revealed by the centre.
Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker, Punjab Legislative Meeting, was the chief visitor on the event. Dr Amarjit Singh, centre’s director, gave particulars in regards to the analysis work being performed. The opening remarks had been delivered by Prof Sarbjot Singh Behl, Dean, Educational Affairs. The primary speaker was Dr Prabhjot Kaur, former principal, Gurmat Faculty, Patiala, who launched the context of the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas. The second speaker Dr Jasbir Singh Sabar spoke of the historic significance of their martyrdom. In his deal with, Sandhwan urged the Sikh group to comply with the teachings given by gurus. The three analysis books revealed by the centre had been launched on the event. Sandhwan introduced a cheque for Rs 5,00,000 to Prof Sarbjot Singh Behl. The three books doc eyewitness accounts of the survivors of Partition in 1947.
