Chilly circumstances prevailed in Punjab and Haryana on Monday as minimal temperatures fell a number of notches beneath regular at many locations.
Bathinda in Punjab was the coldest place within the area with the evening temperature recording 4 notches beneath regular at 3.2 levels Celsius, the Met workplace right here stated.
Amritsar recorded a low of three.6 levels Celsius, two notches beneath regular, whereas the evening temperature in Ludhiana settled one diploma beneath regular at 7.4 levels.
Patiala registered a low of 5.7 levels Celsius, three notches beneath regular, whereas Faridkot and Gurdaspur registered 5.5 and 6.5 levels, respectively.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 6 levels Celsius, two notches beneath regular.
In Haryana, the minimal temperature was recorded at 7.1 levels Celsius, two notches beneath regular. The evening temperature in Hisar was at 5.6 levels Celsius, 4 notches beneath regular.
The minimal temperatures in Karnal, Narnaul, Rohtak and Bhiwani had been recorded at 4.4 levels Celsius, 6.1 levels, 7.4 levels and 9.5 levels, respectively.
