Chosen lecturers stopped from marching in direction of Punjab CM’s home

Sangrur, February 21

The police and members of the ETT and TET Move Union pushed one another close to the native residence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann right here when the latter tried to cross the police barricade.

Balwinder Singh, a protester, stated, “In August 2021, the federal government had began our recruitment. Round 5,000 members of our union have joined after July 2022. However round 1,600 chosen candidates are nonetheless taking rounds of varied places of work for becoming a member of. We’d intensify our agitation in coming days if the federal government didn’t take required steps for our becoming a member of.”

All members first converged close to Verka Milk Plant on Sangrur-Patiala highway and later organised a protest march in direction of the residence of the CM. After they didn’t cross cops, protesters began protest at Sangrur-Patiala highway.
