
Amritsar: Two snatching circumstances reported
Amritsar: Two unidentified armed individuals snatched a cell phone from Ramandeep Kaur of Supariwind village when she was going to Bhangwa village. Ramandeep advised that after they reached close to Bhangwa drain, two bike-borne individuals got here and requested for a route. Later they pointed a pistol and snatched her cell phone and fled. The Majitha police have registered a case on this connection. In one other occasion, two scooter-borne armed individuals looted a scooter and cell phone from Angreg Singh of Vallah. The incident occurred on February 3 close to Akalgarh Dhapian village whereas a grievance was lodged with the police on Wednesday. The complainant advised the police that he as returning residence after attending a perform at Akalgarh Dhapiyan. The accused intercepted him and snatched his scooter and cellular earlier than escaping to Khujala village aspect. The police have registered a case. TNS

Tarn Taran: The Sarhali police have arrested three individuals on the cost of stealing some previous equipment and wooden from the Cooperative Sugar Mills, Sheron. Sub-Inspector Kewal Singh mentioned the mill has been shut for greater than the previous twenty years, and that some equipment and wooden had been saved on the mill premises. Police officer Kewal Singh mentioned the suspects have been recognized as Gurswwak Singh of Sheron, Sukhwinder Singh of Jatta village and Bakhshish Singh of Thatha village. The suspects had sneaked into the mill premises on Wednesday. A case has been registered underneath Part 379 of the IPC.
