Quickly, GNDU to examine schools
Amritsar, February 23
Guru Nanak Dev College (GNDU) has issued a letter to its affiliated schools asking them to gear up for the start of periodic inspections. The college goes to begin periodic inspections in its schools and these shall be executed district-wise in numerous phases. Within the first part, inspections shall be carried out within the schools of Jalandhar and Tarn Taran.
The choice of the college has been welcomed by AUCT, the affiliation of school academics of Punjab. AUCT secretary Prof Jaspal Singh stated it was a long-standing demand that periodic inspections be performed in schools.
He stated Vice-Chancellor Dr Jaspal Singh had promised this throughout a gathering with the representatives of the organisation in December 2022.
Prof Tarun Ghai, AUCT spokesman, stated they’d preserve an in depth eye on groups that come for inspections in order that the method is adopted impartially.
The charge of scholars, service guide of academics and stability sheets of schools could be checked in the course of the inspection.
Prof Ghai stated that like Guru Nanak Dev College, Panjab College and Punjabi College must also begin inspections of their affiliated schools, which have been stalled for the final 15 years.
