MINISTER DR. BALJIT KAUR ATTENDS TWO DAYS REGIONAL WORKSHOP AT MAHARASTRA
CHANDIGARH:Minister of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities of Punjab Dr. Baljit Kaur participated in a two days workshop on social justice organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at Pune, Maharashtra. This workshop was organized from February 28 to March 1. Ministers and prime officers of various states and Union Territories of India participated on this two days workshop.
Addressing the workshop, Cupboard Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur defined that the Division of Social Justice is a division which has been offering justice to the scheduled castes, backward lessons and minorities teams of the society now and again and has been defending their rights with steady transparency. She advised that the variety of Scheduled Castes in Punjab is 32 p.c.
She stated that the insurance policies made by the Central Authorities for the welfare of Scheduled Castes are being applied by the Punjab Authorities with full transparency. With which there was numerous assist in elevating the usual of dwelling of the Scheduled Caste individuals.

The Cupboard Minister stated that at Dr. B.R Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Programs Institute, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Scheduled Castes, Backward Lessons and Minorities college students have being provided Teaching is supplied for preliminary engagement of IAS, PCS and Financial institution PO.
She stated that roughly 45 crores are wanted to ascertain Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan Mohali. She demanded a 50 p.c grant from the Authorities of India for this, in order that college students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Lessons and Minorities can get greater schooling.
