CHANDIGARH: Minister of Social Safety, Girls and Youngster Growth Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that a rise in pension for senior residents, widows and destitute girls, dependent youngsters and disabled individuals shall be completed quickly in future. She stated this in response to a query raised by Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Ganieve Kaur Majithia.
Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that first the Authorities is streamlining it by eradicating the earlier irregularities.
Dr. Baljit Kaur additional stated that the state Authorities led by Bhagwant Mann came upon the true beneficiaries and located that 90248 deceased had been getting advantages. Of which 95 % i.e. 23.94 crore rupees has been recovered. She stated that the earlier Authorities had additionally performed a survey and 70137 had been discovered to be ineligible, for which a restoration of Rs 162.35 crore was made. However just one crore rupees was recovered.
