Bhagwant Mann authorities has stored Rs.990 Crore for increased schooling: Harjot Singh Bains
CHANDIGARH: Within the price range introduced by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, ₹990 rore has been earmarked to ascertain Authorities Universities within the state of Punjab.
Giving data on this regard, Punjab Larger Schooling Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains stated that the Punjab authorities led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been making concerted efforts to strengthen the federal government schooling system within the state.
He stated that the earlier governments had by no means paid consideration to the Authorities Universities of the state as a result of which the monetary situation of those instructional establishments had deteriorated. He stated that after the cupboard led by Bhagwant Mann took over the reins of the state of Punjab, ₹990 crores have been launched within the second consecutive price range to revive these establishments.
Bains stated {that a} meagre ₹24.33 crore was launched to Punjab College throughout the monetary 12 months 2013-14, whereas simply ₹33 crore was given throughout the monetary 12 months 2017-18 and ₹42.70 crore was launched for the monetary 12 months 2022-23.
Equally, paltry ₹55.95 crore was launched to Punjabi College throughout the monetary 12 months 2013-14, whereas solely ₹88.09 crore was given throughout the monetary 12 months 2017-18, and ₹200 crore was launched for the monetary 12 months 2022-23.
