Sikh pilgrims from India to depart for Pakistan on April 9 to take part within the Khalsa Sajna Day celebrations


AMRITSAR: On the event of Khalsa Sajna Day (Vaisakhi), the pilgrims going to go to the Gurdwaras in Pakistan shall be dispatched from the Shiromani Committee workplace at 8:30 am tomorrow, April 9.

The Shiromani Committee member Amarjit Singh will lead the Jatha, the deputy chief of the Jatha Balwinder Singh Veimpui and former secretary Kulwant Singh will even accompany him.

On the event of distributing passports with visas to the pilgrims right this moment, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that each Sikh needs to go to the Sikh Gurdhams left in Pakistan and it’s pure for the pilgrims who’re going to the Jatha to be excited and blissful.

He stated that the Shiromani Committee has made all mandatory preparations for the jarha and tomorrow the Sangat shall be despatched off from the Shiromani Committee workplace as per panthic traditions.

He stated that the Shiromani Committee had despatched passports of 1161 pilgrims for VISA Jout of which 109 pilgrims weren’t issued VJ by Pakistan Embassy in Delhi.

They appealed to the governments to present VJ with an open coronary heart. In response to a query, he stated that like each time, items shall be despatched with the crew as per demand.
