Bela-Behrampur street to be widened and strengthened at a value of Rs 4.80 crore: Harbhajan Singh ETO

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab authorities will widen and strengthen the Bela-Behrampur street below Rupnagar district at a value of Rs 4.80 crore.
Whereas divulging particulars, Punjab Public Works Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO stated that below the NABARD-28 scheme, widening and strengthening of Bela-Behrampur street (ODR-07) might be achieved by the state authorities. He stated that the size of this street is 8.05 km and the present width is eighteen ft/24.5 ft. He stated that the tender course of has been began for this work and the goal has been set to finish this work in 6 months.
The Cupboard Minister stated that this street connects Chamkaur Sahib block of district Rupnagar with Machiwara, district Ludhiana. He stated that as a result of enhance in visitors on this street, its present situation has deteriorated, attributable to which frequent persons are dealing with loads of difficulties. He stated that the 18 ft part of this street will now be widened to 23 ft and BC might be put in on the complete street.
Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO additional stated that as per the demand of the residents of Village Taprian Amar Singh, the street might be elevated close to the village and a drain can even be constructed for the right channelisation of rainwater. He stated that directions have been issued to the officers involved to finish this work on time.
