Chandigarh: Padma Shri Dr. Rattan Singh Jaggi, the famous Academician and Sikh scholar being conferred upon the GYAN RATNA award , the Panjab College’s prestigious honour by the Vice President of India Sh. Jagdeep Dhankar in recognition to his monumental contribution within the subject of schooling and literature throughout its seventieth Convocation on twentieth Could 2023 .
Dr Jaggi, a nonagenarian is an eminent scholar of Hindi and Punjabi with Gurmat and Bhakti Motion Literature being his forte.Pertinently, Dr. Jaggi has penned 144 books on various topics viz. Sikh scriptures , medieval interval literature, Sikh philosophy apart from encyclopaedias of Sikh non secular ideas and terminology.
