Animal husbandry minister constitutes committee to contemplate rebate in energy tariff for shrimp farming


CHANDIGARH: Punjab Animal Husbandry Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar, on Thursday, constituted 4 member committee to contemplate rebate in energy tariff for shrimp farming within the state.

After rigorously listening to the issues of the shrimp farmers at his workplace right here, S. Laljit Singh Bhullar mentioned that the state authorities will give attention to lowering the enter price of shrimp farmers to satisfy the goal of accelerating the world underneath shrimp tradition to 5000 hectares in subsequent 5 years.

On the demand of the shrimp farmers for lowering energy tariffs for shrimp farming, the Cupboard Minister mentioned that the 4 members committee comprising of Director Fisheries, one PSPCL official and two shrimp farmers will totally deliberate all facets associated to the demand and furnish it is report back to him.
